Recorded last December, The Gospel of Hurt is the second album from this Nashville based, Americana/Folk duo, Trees Leave. This is a followup to their critically acclaimed debut "Run". The new songs were produced by Mike Odmark (Daniel Elsworth, Tyler James and Tova Rinah). The album features 7 original songs by the duo including "Covered With Vines", a departure from the folk arena as it includes some pop elements that have snuck into their songwriting as of late. "Hurt" is still heavy on fiddle, mandolin, and banjo. The tunes are definitely reminiscent of the duo's roots in Bluegrass and Appalachian Folk.

The guys are already hitting the road to promote this album.  If you would like booking information, send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
